Welcome to Sketches by Ste, the vibrant artistic journey of a passionate UK artist from Liverpool who can call himself an international selling artist as I've sold works across Europe, North America and Australia. 

 

I have a very supportive wife and 4 crazy children who keep me on my toes and this journey would not have got to this point without all their support and love. My children even tell their teachers ''my Dad is an artist'' and a few of them are displaying an interest in art themselves.

 

I've always found joy in drawing, but it wasn't until 2020 that I completely fell in love with the watercolour medium. Many people say it is the hardest medium to work with due to its unforgiving nature, but i believe the challenges that this presents is what drives me forward.

 

Although parent took centre stage for a while, the UK COVID lockdown reignited my creative spirit in the most exciting way! I had spent 15 years working for a company that was just a pay check to support my family with no love for the work that I was doing, without having the time to harness my creative side so the lockdown gave me an opportunity to reignite my passion and travel on this amazing journey,

 

I can't wait to share my artistic journey and celebrate the beauty of life through my colourful paintings with you! Also a shout out to all my past and future clients. Without all of you, non of this would be possible.
